  • MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone)

A colorless liquid used as an active solvent in the surface coating industry.It is miscible in all proportions with the conventional nitro-cellulose lacquer solvents and is partly miscible with water.

 

Other usage: fabric coating lacquers, vinyl coatings, knife and roller coating formulations. Also used for adhesives based on synthetic rubbers, paints, and varnish removers, artificial leather, printing inks, and other industrial compounds. Boiling point: 80°c

 

  • MIBK (Methyl Isobutyl Ketone)

A colorless liquid with a mild odor, slightly miscible with water but completely miscible with paint and lacquer solvents.It is used for a variety of natural and synthetic resins. Boiling point: 116°c

 

  • Acetone

A clear liquid solvent with a characteristic odor used for acrylics and textiles.
